Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Devbhumi app for mobile devices, developed by the Uttarakhand Police Department.

## What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

### User Provided Information

The Application collects information that you provide when you download and register the Application. Registration is optional, but some features may not be available without it.

We may also use your information to contact you from time to time to provide important updates, notices, or marketing promotions.

### Automatically Collected Information

The Application may collect certain information automatically, including but not limited to:

- The type of mobile device you use

- Your device unique ID

- Your mobile operating system

- The IP address of your device

- Mobile Internet browser type

- App usage information and crash logs

## Location Information

This Application does not collect precise real-time location information of your mobile device.

## Data Retention Policy & Managing Your Information

We will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. Automatically Collected Information may be retained for up to 24 months and then stored in aggregate form.

### How to Delete Your Data

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by going to **Profile → Settings → Delete Account** option within the app. Once confirmed, all your personal data will be permanently deleted from our servers and cannot be recovered. ## Opt-out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by uninstalling the Application using the standard uninstall process on your mobile device.

## Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If we discover that a child has provided us with personal information, we will promptly delete it from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided personal information, please contact us at cctnshelpdeskuk@gmail.com.

## Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information through physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards. We limit access to personal information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information to operate, develop, or improve our services.
